Happy Valentine's Day: Have a heart!

Hi guys,
Happy Valentine's Day! The most commercial day of the year so far, but admit it: you still feel smug if you got a card/present/romantic gesture, and disappointed if you didn't. I'm sitting firmly in the didn't camp today, and I had a pang of something not dissimilar to envy when a florist truck full of red roses and helium balloons whizzed past me this morning. So I thought I'd do a little virtual Valentine's shopping of my own instead!

Heart print is going to be on trend all summer long. I loved the black and white Miu Miu heart print, and picked up a replica version of the shirt in Primark last week. Yes Primark: My life is all glamour! So if your beloved decided not to buy you a present (or simply forgot, like mine) then why not buy yourself a little treat?
Photobucket
Lanvin heart charm bracelet, Net-a-porter, £230
Sweetheart jumper, Topshop, £49

Vivienne Westwood Melissa heels, c/o Sarenza, £143.70
Leopard print heart tee, River Island, £24.99
Bleeding heart sweatshirt, ASOS, £90
Heart print skinny jeans, River Island, £20
I love Me keyring, Accessorize, £5

Heart print hat, Accessorize, £6
Lulu Guinness dusky lips clutch, £245

What are you doing to celebrate Valentine's day? Are you going out tonight, and if so, what will you be wearing? Come on, make us all jealous with your romantic stories!

January according to my iPhone

Hi guys,
Taking pictures of everything seems to be a cultural endemic: especially if you're a blogger. There's a reason the iPhone comes equipped with such a good camera! No shopping trip, lunch or cupcake is left unsnapped, and I'm just as guilty. If I think something looks good, interesting, or just worth sharing with my husband I whip out my phone and pap it! So I thought it would be fun to pick out some of my iPhone pictures from the month and share them with you.
Photobucket
This month I:
-Made chocolate brownies and ate ice cream in Harrods (diet be damned!)
-Cut my own fringe. And I'm getting pretty good at it!
-Lusted after all of the chintzy homewares at the M&S press day
-Picked up plenty of bargains in the sales
-Fell in love with baby Bertie (my nephew) all over again
-Tried on 6 different white shirts at TM Lewin.

What have you been up to this month? Anything exciting?

Shop my wardrobe....and more?!

Hi guys,
As I said in my New Year's resolution post, I have far too many clothes: lovely, beautiful clothes. And shoes. And handbags. And....well, you get the idea! There are clothes that don't fit me any more, clothes that I've loved for years , and shoes that are so high I've never worn them: just looked at them and sighed. So I have decided to reopen the Fabfrocks shop and clear some space in my wardrobe!

Here are some of the pieces I've just added....
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
Monochrome Topshop dress, size 14, £10
Floral Topshop dress, size 16, £7
Carvella Wedges, size 6, £25

......If you want to see more, you'll have to check it out!!

I've starting by adding a few items, and I will be adding new items to the shop every day this week, so keep checking back! There are more Topshop dresses, vintage jackets and clutch bags, summer sandals, killer heels, and leather handbags still to come.

I'd love to know what you think of the shop idea - and also whether you would be interested in new stuff from the Topshop outlet store too? I know you aren't all a size 14/16 and don't all like second hand fashion, so thought this could widen the shop out a bit and make it interesting for everyone? I could cherry pick the best bits from the Topshop outlet store, and add it to the shop for you guys? It would also give me the excuse to shop there more often, so it's win-win really!!

Westfield Stratford City opens in less than a week!

Hi guys,
In just 6 short days, Westfield Stratford City will be opening its doors to the public. Last week, I was invited for a sneak peek around the new shopping centre: and I was impressed!
Photobucket
The centre is working on an indoors-outdoors concept: the whole place feels so light and airy, and there is even an outdoors shopping street as part of the complex. Unlike Westfield London, there isn't going to be a premium shopping area (which doesn't bother me, as I couldn't afford to shop there anyway) but there is going to be a Primark as well as a market place area for smaller independents: a sign that the target demographic is younger, trendier, and less affluent perhaps?!

It's amazing to think that this will be finished in less than a week: it looked like there was so much work to be done, although there was also more builders than i've ever seen before!
Photobucket
Every article I've read about this new Westfield so far has talked about regeneration. And as amazing as I think it is that this mall is boosting the economy of an area that really needs the support (not to mention creating 1,200 new jobs) I know as well as you do that what really matters when choosing whether to shop somewhere is how good the shops are! So here is a tip-of-the-iceberg list: John Lewis, Primark, Wolford, True Religion, Miss Sixty, Miss Selfridges, Pull and Bear, Uniqlo, and Fashion Rocks.

The centre will also feature 70 resturants (think Jamies Italia, Bumpkin, Wahaca, and many more), two hotels, a huge cinema, an All Star Lanes bowling alley and even a casino.

As a North West London gal, this will never be my local shopping centre (Although if Westfield want to remodel Brent Cross, I'll be very grateful) but I think the lure of my favourite shops, not to mention the whopping 70 restaurants, means I'll be forcing Mike into the back of the car (the centre has 5,000 parking spaces) and having a day out soon!

Will you be visiting?

Love, Tor xx

PS - I'm not being paid to say this or anything, but do check out the Westfield Stratford City website: it's very cool, and has lots of great features and East London stories.

PPS - Did you know you can now follow Fabfrocks on facebook! Head over and check it out!!

What can you buy with £250?

Hi guys,

In New Look £250 will buy you: 3 dresses, 2 blouses, 2 vests, 1 jacket, 1 pair of jeans, a pair of leather brogues, and a pair of super high heels. How do I know this? Because at the Face of Fabulous launch a fortnight ago I won a £250 trolley dash in New Look. And yesterday, I went on that dash! Here are some sneaky detail shots of my haul.

First thing's first, here are the shoes:
Photobucket
Photobucket
I love my leather brogues and I live in them at the weekend, but they've started to look a little beaten up. What better time to replace them! And the yellow heels? Well I liked them, and is it was free shopping, why the hell not!!
Photobucket
I'm slightly obsessed with the ruffle detail on the shoulder of this blue dress, which i'm planning to wear to my hen 'do. I'm not showing you all of it though: i'm saving that for an outfit post when I wear it!
Photobucket
Photobucket
I was very impressed with myself because I didn't buy anything black (very unlike me!) The tops and blouse I selected were vibrant colours perfect for summer: normally I only wear dresses, but i'm really loving wearing blouses with skirts this summer too. The blue vest (which I also got in pink) will be teamed with my camel coloured shorts for my honeymoon.

And the jacket and dress you haven't seen yet? Well they'll be making their debut in tomorrow's outfit post! Overall I was really pleased with everything I chose, and massively excited to have won such a great prize!

If you love it should you put it on your credit card?

Hi guys,
Question: If you like it then should you put a ring on it? Answer: Yes. Question: If you love it should you put in on your credit card? Answer: It depends. My credit cards have never been used so much since I got engaged. My wedding dress, deposits for our wedding venue, deposits for our photographer…the list of things I have put on my credit card is endless. And for good reason: you’re better protected if your vendor cancels on you when you pay with your credit card than you are when you pay by cash, and with something as important as a wedding this security is essential. The credit cards make the payment, then the cash in the savings account cleared the bill at the end of the month.

So far, so sensible. But what about if you’re out shopping and you see a dress you really really love? Is it OK to whip your credit card out and have a treat? My immediate answer to this question is yes (I am, after all a shopaholic!) but only if you can afford to pay it back. And when I say pay it back, I mean at the end of the month, not in 50p instalments! Shopaholic isn’t a byword for reckless! If I see a dress I just have to have, and it’s in my size, and I love it and it feels like fate (we’ve all had that feeling)……but its 3 days before pay day then I announce “Its credit card time!” but only because I know I can pay it back when I pay my next statement, as soon as I’ve been paid. I have even been known to treat myself to something a little more expensive and pay it back in two instalments, by using my ‘treat money’(am I the only one that has treat money?) from the following month.

Photobucket

Credit cards can be wonderful things, but only if they’re used sensibly. There isn’t a shoe in the world that’s worth getting into a lifetime of debt for (No. Not even those Jimmy Choos. Although you can see some pics from my fantasy credit card shopping list above) So my credit card advice (if you want it!) is to only ever buy what you can afford to pay off. And don’t forget that owning a credit card can help improve your credit rating, even if you rarely use it: just don’t fall into the trap of using it to pay for everything. It isn’t free money!

The professional pictures from my Discover a Style You'll love experience day on Saturday have arrived: they're considerably better than mine, so of course I had to share! I've been wearing all of my new clothes this week (pictures to follow, I promise!) and believe it or not, I haven't lost a single stone from my nails so far. Thanks again to Ford Ka for organising my dream day out.

Inject some colour into your winter wardrobe: buy new tights!

Hi guys,
I never thought i'd say this, but I am getting seriously bored of wearing head to toe black. Black is my favourite colour to wear, but during the winter generally the only colours I break it up with are charcoal grey, or if i'm feeling really adventurous, brown. I can't wait for spring to arrive so that I can start wearing my lovely floral dresses again!

I'm on a pre-wedding shopping ban, so I can't go out and buy new winter dresses in jewel shades (my dream way to dress at this time of year) which means i'm stuck with the black dresses: classic and flattering but not always that exciting. But I did think of a cheap and cheerful way to brighten up the black and inject some colour into my wardrobe: tights.
Photobucket
Jonathan Aston: Yellow opaque tights. Jonathan Aston: Pink sheer tights.

A pair of tights in a vibrant colour can make an outfit look completely different. I have a wide pink leather belt which I love, but never wear: I could throw it over my favourite black dress and add these pink tights for a coordinated work wear look that would look much more exciting that my usual drab offerings! I love the amazing colour of these yellow tights, but I just don't think I have the legs to pull off yellow however they'd look great poking out of the bottom of my ankle length hareem pants teamed with brogues, and they'd keep my legs warm too: result!
Photobucket
Miss Oroblu: celebrity tights. Miss Oroblu: floral print tights.

I love patterned tights: they're like works of leg art! Sadly, my legs just aren't a good enough canvas for the beautiful art and patterned tights stretch out and make me look much wider. It has to be plain block coloured tights for me!

If I go out and buy 4 pairs of tights in lovely jewel colours then I can jazz up my wardrobe all the way until Spring (is it too early to think about Spring? I'm so ready for it to arrive!) and all for less than the cost of a new top I probably won't ever wear from Topshop! Now that's shopping I can justify! (Just don't tell the fiance: I promised not to shop until after the wedding. Shhhhh!)

A quick trip to Primark

Hi Guys,
Taking a quick detour from the high-fashion world of the various fashion weeks (has anyone else been glued to Style.com this week?) I decided to pop to Primark before work this morning, to have a quick look at their new season clothes without the hustle and bustle of the afterwork crowds. First thing in the morning is my favourite time to go to Primark: there was only me and four other people in the whole shop, everything is neat and tidy on the shelves and racks, and you have time to browse, and make your selections, without getting an elbow in the ribs: it's a much more civilised experience!

I was in and out in less than 30 minutes (like a shopping ninja), including the time it took me to try on six dresses! Here's what I picked up:
Photobucket
Photobucket
Deer Tshirt dress, £9
Black jersey Maxi dress, £15
Tree patterned ruffle trim dress, £15

Obviously I love all three dresses (or I wouldn't have bought them!) but for different reasons: the T shirt dress is slouchy, and a longer line at the back than it is at the front. This will look great smartened up with a boyfriend blazer and brogues. The jersy maxi dress is perfect for day to night; it has flattering sleeves and a deep decolletage which means a change of jewellery or shoes will take it to just about any event. And the ruffle trim dress? This is my favourite! It reminds me of one i've seen in topshop that looks very similar, but at a third of the price: perfect for a trend led piece like this that I probably won't want to wear again after Christmas!

I know I said no more fast-fashion, and I haven't been to primark for months, but I just couldn't resist these great winter dresses: they've just had all their new season stuff arrive, so if you too need dresses with sleeves, jackets or coats, and winter boots on a budget, it's definitely worth checking out!

Crazy spending spree: TK Maxx

Would you say that spending four hours shopping in TKMaxx was a productive or an unproductive way of spending a Saturday afternoon? I'm hoping the answer is productive, because that's how I spent the integral hours of my weekend!

As a thank you for taking part in their dress challenge, TKMaxx sent me a lovely note and gift card, and so obviously I went out to spend it: guilt-free shopping is my favourite kind! However what started as a browse with intent turned into a major shopping spree! I ended up buying: 3 dresses, a Moschino t shirt (which i'm totally in love with!)two cardigans, a Moschino cheap and chic silk scarf, a pair of crazy clog shoes, six pairs of Betsey Johnson socks (for my holiday), Betsey Johnson sunglasses, Mickey Mouse pajamas, underwear, House of Holland tights, some T shirts and socks for the boyfriend, a present for my dad (it's his birthday next month) and a very cute leather purse. And here are pictures of some of the pieces to proove it:
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
The Tshirt looks really simple but its so soft and it fits like a dream: I think i'm going to slouch it over a nude skirt. I also love the shoes: these will be my nod to both clogs and double denim (teamed with either jeans or my denim jacket) this summer. I was also really pleased about buying the two cardigans; cardigans were on my list of things I definitely needed, and now I have plenty!

I'm aware that this is a bit of a vapid self obsessed post, but I had such fun on my shopping spree that I just had to share! I haven't photographed the dresses because they look better on than laid out flat, but I will point them out in future daily wear posts!

The Fabfrocks guide to: Carboot sales

Photobucket
I love carboot sales and I always manage to bag a bargain when i'm out at them: I have been known to spend a pleasant summer weekend with my mum and my sisters hopping from one to the other. This weekend is the weekend most bootsales officially start up, and I have three lined up to attend, so what better time to write the Fabfrocks guide to carboot sales!

1. Do your research. It only takes a couple of minutes to find out where the sale is and what time the sale opens to sellers. There are different thoughts about what time you should arrive: I always like to be at the sale quite soon after it opens to get the pick of the stock, but other carbooters prefer to arrive towards the end of the sale when sellers might negotiate a little more on the price.

2. Decide what you want to pay before you ask how much something is. Very few stalls will have prices on things, so I always like to know how much I think something is worth (to me) before I ask, and I never go over the number I had in my mind. Also, don't be frightened to negotiate: if you had a lower price in mind then it doesn't hurt to ask! The worst someone can do is say no, and even if they don't like your suggestion, they're often prepared to meet you in the middle.

3. Carry loads of change! I know it seems really obvious, but it's easier to get a £1 book for 50p if you have the 50 pence piece in your hand, rather than a £10 note. Its also a good idea to carry one of the many cotton bags we all have shoved in a drawer: not all sellers are organised enough to bring carrier bags, and it will make it alot easier to carry your purchases home!

4. Be open minded. Its a famous old phrase that one mans junk is another mans treasure: I often go to bootsales looking for books (I read alot) or brooches for my collection, but find dresses, tea sets, even an old monopoly board! There is an awful lot of junk at your average boot sale, but I try to see the potential in everything!

So, what are you waiting for? Why not go out and bag yourself a bargain at a bootsale this weekend! You never know what you might find!

Go shopping: Buy a dress, buy a top, buy a phone!

I feel like if I were a dictator of some kind, then the title above would definitely form a part of my ruling philosophy!Everyone would be well dressed and forced to shop for clothes, shoes, and occasional fashionable electricals. Not sure I can find any negatives in the thought of this dictatorship, actually. I'd get everyone to refer to me as the Tor-tator. If only I owned a small island!
If you are in the market to buy a top then Isabella Oliver are offering FabFrocks readers 20% off all their tops. Just enter TOPS20 at the check out to receive your discount; this offer is only valid until Sunday though, so probably time for some Friday shopping! I don't know why I think of Friday as a shopping day - if i'm honest I will shop on any day with a "y" in it!
If you feel like buying a new dress (who doesn't feel like buying dresses!) then as I command it, Topshop is running an amazing celebrity dress auction on 16th March following the 'Dress Me Up' hire project over Christmas. All proceeds go to charity... and you could get your hands on a dress previously owned by Kate Moss, Dita Von Teese or Scarlett Johansson... Or a dress donated by one of Topshop's designer friends, including Emma Cook and Christopher Kane. The auction prices start at £60, and although i'm sure the prices will go unaffordably crazy, its nice to dream that you could own one of these dresses for the price of a night out isn't it?! The auction takes place at 10.30 am and you can find out more about it here. Its also worth mentioning that its for a really good cause!
And as for the phone?? Well, I love gadgets and gizmos but i'm ashamed to say (given the job I do!) that i'm actually a bit of a technophobe: It takes me a little while to get to grips with new technologies. And the INQ Chat smart phone from Three mobile was no exception.I was kindly lent this phone to tweet during London Fashion Week: its a social media phone, meaning it's really easy to use twitter and facebook on it. Which believe me can turn you into a twitter addict! It also came in really handy for checking emails.

It comes with flash cards rather than a manual which look great and are probably all you need if you're a hip young thing, but it meant I had to return to the internet in order to do simple things like work out how to take the back off and insert the sim card. It also beeps all the time - i'm sure anyone with half a mind for technology could sort this immediately, but I found myself cradling it like a mother with a new born screaming "what do you want?? what do you want!!"

I won't be upgrading to this instead of the iphone i'm collecting next month, but for that kind of smart social media technology on a budget, I think its definitely worth a look.

So there you have it, everything you were promised: dresses, tops, and phones. I feel kind of cheated that I didn't throw shoes in there too though. Maybe next time.....

Love, Tor xxx

PS - My Stylecompare competition is now closed. The three finalists from Fabfrocks whose entries were submitted to the judges are: Gloria, Rachel (Kenners) and LoLo. Unfortunately I don't get to choose the winner, but good luck everyone. Would you guys like me to post the looks submitted by the finalists I chose by the way??

Wardrobe clearout time is here again!

In order to make the most of the wardrobe you've got you have to be able to see the wood from the trees. And in light of my new-f0und shopping opt-out (I like Make Do Style's term much better than ban!) now's the perfect time to clear out my wardrobe so that I can rediscover all the wonderful things lurking at the back that I didn't even know I had!

This means that yesterday I started added some more stuff to the FabFrocks Shop (I can't link that properly because blogger is playing up, but you can get there by clicking to your left!) As well as the usual array of dresses and tops, there are 3 coats available so far (more to come later today!)so perfect for the current chill! As usual, email me if there's anything you want!

I'm pretty excited and positive about the upcoming shopping "opt out" and being forced to experiment more with the wonderful wardrobe I already have. But now it's time to lay down the rules:

1. The obvious one! No shopping for clothes. Exceptions are: underwear if absolutely neccessary, and black tights/leggings, because I seem to always be putting holes in mine!
2. Window shopping is fine and to be encouraged: it's where I get a lot of inspiration for the blog!!
3. I'm giving up clothes shopping, not consumerism in general. So the occasional grazia magazine, replacement nail varnish, hair cut etc is acceptable.
4. Failure is not an option. It would be too embarrassing: especially given that my mum laughs out loud everytime I mention the plan!!

Love, Tor xx

PS - As I mentioned her earlier, "Hi Mum! Love ya!" My parents recently had broadband installed at home which has enabled my mum to start reading the blog everyday: she tells me off if i'm late to update, so this is an extra incentive to make sure I post everyday!

The great big boot hunt: It begins!

If you follow me on twitter then you will know that I have been most distressed this week because the heel has snapped off my beloved heeled ankle boots (they are beyound repair) and I need another pair to replace them immediately ie before my first LFW show on Friday! You see, those boots were my wear everywhere heeled boots and the rare mix of good looking and comfortable enough to walk in without it feeling like a thousand tiny daggers were stabbing at my feet!
.
Replacing them will be hard (especially given my almost non-exsistant shoe budget this month) but if I had the money to hit the highsteet in the way I wanted to this evening then these would be the shoes I would be trying on. I want something with a heel, that is chunky and tough looking:
Either the darla or the darcie boot from the Dr Martin Diva Collection. All the toughness of the original Dr Martins I remember from my misspent youth, but with the added bonus of being a yummy shiny patent and having a heel to make even the tiniest plumpest of bloggers (ie me!) look like they have slender legs!
These Topshop boutique heeled biker boots are like a more feminine (but still rough and tough!) version of the DM's but with the added bonus of the leather looking buttery soft and lots more details, such as the hooks and eyes and the tough straps.
And finally these versions from Schuh are nuts; 17 straps for biker meets bondage pleasure. If only they'd had a heel!
.
Yes, my feminine ankle boots are out and chunky manly heeled biker boots are in....provided I can find a pair for less than £50 of course....something tells me this challenge is going to be less than fun!
.

Treasure hunt competition: a night in pictures

Some of the photos are mine, and some are from the gofinditdotnet flickr album (sadly, its probably easy to work out which is which!!)

Last night was the night of the Ford KA Treasure hunt at the south bank JoY store. I met lovely fabfrocks winner Hayley (who is pictured above in the blue and who, by the way, is a very decisive shopper and put me to shame!) before the event, and then we went on to the party where we supped champagne, munched on cupcakes and shop, shop, shopped!

It was lovely to meet the 13 other bloggers that were involved in the competition (and of course their wonderful winners!) and an amazing and surreal treat to have a whole shop to ourselves in which to complete our own personal shopping!
.
We each hunted for our tiny Ford Ka's and once found exchanged them for JoY vouchers. And there's nothing to love more than free shopping! I choose an oversized bag, slouchy cardigan and titi madam deer necklace. Hayley choose the same cardigan, a gorgeous powder blue body bag and 2 pairs of earrings. It was a very fun and rewarding evening all round!
.
Bet you wish you'd entered the competition now, don't you? Well fear not, because you can still get involved! As part of their gofindit initiative, every Friday for the rest of September, Ford will be hiding their tiny cars in JoY stores all over the country. All you have to do is head instore and find one! These cars can be exchanged for vouchers worth £10 all month except on the last Friday when they will be worth £100! I know where i'll be on September 25th...I can't stop thinking about those shoes I put back!

New feature; What's in the window!

Even when I was a very little girl I used to love looking in shop windows; it's an obsession that's only gotten worse as i've got older! I think window dressing is an art, and the window represents a huge installation. A really great window doesn't only make you want to shop, it sometimes takes your breath away; nothing makes me more excited than a new window display at Selfridges, for example! I remember once watching a late night tv show (back in my student days!) about the window dressers at Selfridges, but cant for the life of me think what it was called!
.
I also think that when you go to a new city (especially in a different country) a quick walk down the nearest highstreet peeking in all the windows is the perfect way to find out what is in Vogue, and what the people you're going to meet will be wearing!
.
To celebrate my love of what goes on outside of our highstreet stores i've started a new fabfrocks feature; what's in the window! Once a week (or whenever I hit the shops!) I will take pictures of the front of the windows I like best and post them here for your viewing pleasure. And feel free to get involved! If you see a window you love then take a quick picture and send it over to me; the contact box is to your right!
.
Here are my picks of the week:
.
River Island (I want a top hat with a pony on it!)
Pull and Bear: Zara:I really wanted to also share photos from the 2109 window display in Selfridges, but sadly (due to poor organisation!) my camera had died by the time I got to that end of Oxford street: definitely one to save for next time though!
.
Now show me your windows!

COMPETITION: Come on a shopping treasure hunt with me!

Fancy coming on a real life treasure hunt with me to find £60 worth of JoY shopping vouchers? Well, to celebrate the launch of the new Ford Ka, all you have to do is enter my competition and you can!
.
13 other bloggers and their readers will also be getting involved! You have to be available and in London on the evening of the 3rd September when we will head to the bankside JoY store (behind the Tate Modern) and go on a treasure hunt for miniature Ford Ka's: when we've found them we will be able to swap them for £60 worth of JoY vouchers, do some shopping, and meet all the other fashion bloggers and their winners.
Fancy getting involved? Well if you want to get your hands on those vouchers (and meet me of course!) all you have to do is tell me whether I have hidden the car (or should that be KA!?)above in the left or right side bar of the blog, and let me know what you would do on a two day road trip in a Ford Ka.
.
I would pick up my mum and my sisters and head to Bicester village for a day of crazy discount designer shopping: I love it there but it's a pain to get to on the train!
.
ENTER NOW and good luck! I look forward to meeting the winner on September 3rd!

Monday morning lust!

It's a Monday morning. It's back to work. Which means its time to cheer ourselves up with a little "if only I were shopping" lust! If I were shopping (and wealthier than my bank account currently dictates) then....

....I would be preparing for winter in this Rikkemai sequin-bibbed cardigan and wonderful wonderful tassled scarf.
.
I have visions of buying a series of curtain ties and sewing my heart out in a bid to replicate this, but I know it wouldnt look anywhere near as wonderful. Although I think it is this "was it or wasnt it made at home" aspect that makes it so appealing. I stumbled across Rikkemai whilst attempting to do some catch reading around Copenhagen Fashion Week, and i'm so glad I did.
.
I wish I was better at hunting out new brands; Rikkemai was launched in 2005 and it's taken me 4 years to notice!
.
Still, the urban folklore and patchwork(both literal and not) themes woven throughout this collection means that, now discovered, Rikkemai is a designer I will keep coming back to: Especially as a welcome distraction from the thought of all the copy I have to write today!

Shop my wardrobe!

Apparently "swine flu" has its benefits: it means I can't leave my bed and have the time in front of my computer to do jobs i've been meaning to do for ages! I have far too many clothes. Lovely, lovely beautiful clothes. Some of which I am yet to remove the tags from. I have shoes too tough for my delicate feet. Clothes I meant to take back but forgot all about and left in bags at the bottom of my wardrobe. I have clothes I have loved for years. And clothes I only loved when I was trying them on in the shop.

Topshop clothes and Primark clothes. H&M and matalan clothes. Clothes from the topshop outlet. Vintage clothes and boot sales clothes. Casual clothes and evening clothes. And a healthy dollop of sequins. And they could all be yours.

Due to my constantly fluctuating weight, there are clothes ranging from a size 12-size 16.

I've been meaning to add some more stuff to this for weeks, and I had a massive clear out last weekend. So check out the fabfrocks shop and shop my wardrobe: you're bound to find something you like! I've added about ten new things today, and hope to add another ten tomorrow - and I will keep adding stuff all week; I think I have around 40-50 things to put up in total! (until the next shopping binge and clear out of course!)
.
Everything will be washed and ironed before being carefully packaged and sent to you with love. So if you see anything you like just drop me a line, and i'll get it sent straight over!

Love Tor
